Over 4 ♥ south's choices are a 4 ♠ cue-bid, the 4 NT bid shown here, or a raise to 5 ♥.
Our style is to cue to show serious slam interest with a problem somewhere. Otherwise we need to bid a 4 NT key-card ask or a quantitative raise to 5 ♥. Perhaps that agreement needs a rethink for this particular sort of auction where there is no opportunity to cue below game.
Even though slam is hopeless on this layout it is a reasonable contract with more normal breaks.
