Here 3 ♦ shows extra values. South has a little extra - 14 hcp and a fifth club - and a bad spade stopper - a suit that opener could be short in - and not five hearts so rebids 4 ♣. Also 3 ♠ would have shown a stiff spade here.
In this auction 4 ♦ is a wide range bid. Usually going past 3 NT shows some slam interest, however with some minimums - no spade stopper - it will be necessary to bypass 3 NT. On the other hand 4 ♦, 4 ♥ and 4 ♠ will be cuebids showing significant extra values - almost demanding a slam.
After every side suit has been cued responder can take control with 4 NT. At 5 ♦ responder knows opener has three aces, five clubs, four diamonds and extra values. If opener is 3=1=4=5 then we need either the ♠ K, ♥ K or the ♣ Q. If opener is 2=2=4=5 then the ♥ K will do. If opener is 1=3=4=5 then the ♥ K is needed. In some other cases there might be finesse options.
Again simulations suggest the grand is around 70% with the given information. So maybe south should just pot the grand here after 5 ♦.
