Opener's jump to 4  is a big bid. It is justified here based on the sixth diamond, the spade fit, the good shape and 15 hcp in fitting honours.

The problem with 4  is that cues by responder are mandatory so having pushed with only 15 hcp you need to rely on responder. This problem is exposed with after the 4  bid. Responder may have no club control and it maybe difficult to bid slam blind.

On the other hand from responder's perspective at 4 , responder knows that opener has at most  AK  QJ and  AJ. Normally 4  will deliver something more than that especially if opener short in spades. If we take away a spade honour from opener's possible holding above then opener will have to have club honour. Similarly if opener is short in clubs there will be no problem. If opener is short in hearts then again opener is a big favourite for a club honour.

Therefore responder can speculate on 6 .

Here the  K was wasted and we still had the club finesse for twelve tricks.
